Stanford School of Medicine Sim-1 Building

AJ provided spray fireproofing, metal stud framing and drywall for this 206,000-square-foot medical research facility on the Stanford University campus.  Slated to be used for stem-cell research, this building featured AJ’s load bearing framing in the basement supporting an interstitial mechanical level, epoxy coated laboratory and research facilities and a four-story atrium with a grand staircase and limestone clad walls.  Extensive BIM coordination with general contractor Whiting Turner enabled AJ to complete this complex project in eleven months.
