Contemporary Jewish Museum

For the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco, AJ framed 75-foot high walls at a 35° slope with inset 40-foot-tall Hebrew letters. AJ built floating ceilings that sloped two directions with multiple interconnected reveals tying in floor lines, walls and ceilings in a historical, symbolic pattern.  Achieving a museum-quality finish with drywall was a special challenge met by AJ crews.  The project was chosen as the AWCI national job of the year, winning the 2007 Excellence in Quality award.
