Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics        

AJ provided the exterior wall system, which consisted of metal stud framed weather wall and a fiber cement panel façade, on this 100,000-square-foot, three-story classroom and lecture hall building. The exterior wall framing system was on multiple angles and planes.  An aluminum substructure was designed to support the fiber cement panel façade 10 inches away from the weather wall.  Each fiber cement panel was a different size and was ordered to exact size from the manufacturer in Switzerland. The building earned LEED silver certification.
