Los Angeles County Museum of Art, phase II pavilion
AJ provided sprayed fireproofing, interior framing and drywall, exterior framing, sheathing and a fluid-applied waterproof membrane. This 42,000-square-foot museum gallery consisted of a saw-tooth-shaped ceiling constructed with metal stud framing and drywall. The exterior framing system included a heavy gauge horizontal hat channel for stone façade bracket attachment. Exterior sheathing was placed between the hat channel and the entire wall was sprayed with a fluid applied waterproof membrane.
